Joshua Davis

1. What elements of art do you see as most important in his work?
 line, color, space, shape, texture.
2. Which of the principals of design are most important to his work?
The way that Joshua Davis uses repitition, balance, and gradiation shows that it is most important to his art work.
3. What makes his images interesting to you? How does his work INVOLVE the viewer?
I love the way he uses shapes to create advertistments such as the heinken design. The way he has the viewer looking at the different shapes, colors, and words make your eyes go across the image perfectly

Aesthetic Apparatus

The most dominant prinicple Aesthetic Apparatus uses is color, texture, line, harmony, and value.

I believe that the deeper meaning of this artists work is that he designs for companies like Ray Ban and Surely Brewing as you can see in the photos above.

Milton Glaser

The dominate elements in Milton Glaser's work is the value, texture, line, shape, and harmony.

I believe that Milton would create these beautiful portaits because all of these people are extremely amazing, and it seems that they have affected his life by how they were role models. Such as Beethoven because he was romantic hero to Milton.

Three Designers

Shepard Fairey

The most dominant element in these photos are the way that Fairey uses line and shape to create posters and album covers for artists. Also many photos he has are in black and white but you can still see all of the lines and shapes without any confusion.

The deeper meaning with Shepard Fairey is that his designs always have message in them. They aren't just designs, they are meaningful.
